The linden tree in my front yard is in bloom, and all day, its perfume is strong and the entire tree is buzzing with bees, making the noise synonymous with the scent.

The Swallowtails are all over, flitting from flower to flower. They are the size of birds—4 to 5 inches from wingtip to wingtip. This one was at New River Gorge National Park.

This is a pitcher plant digesting its food. Some greedy, hungry insects were lured by the pitcher plant's prettiness, went down its gullet looking for sweet stuff, and got stuck in it. Revenge is what is sweet, here.
